Phillies Rock the Park!

Baseball is back in Philly. Although my Philadelphia Phillies had opening-weekend-on-the-road struggles with the Atlanta Braves and New York Mets, they are bringing the fans joy with their season opening home stand.

Friday's 5-0 win over the Marlins was the first opening day win the team enjoyed in years. Followed by last night's 20-1 win against the same Marlin team! Maikel Franco and Aaron Altherr  both hit a grand slam! Carlos Santana a three-run homer!

Perhaps Doug Pederson, head coach of the Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles, brought the Phillies some luck when he tossed out that first pitch on Opening Day! 😊

Have a great week, Everyone!
