Philly Loves "The Boss!"

Usually when I'm sitting in Citizens Bank Park, the occasion is Phillies' baseball.

But, not this week...

"The Boss," Bruce Springsteen was in the house, rockin' the Philly ball park on Wednesday and Friday nights in temperatures above 90 degrees and wearing his trademark boots and jeans!!!

Springsteen is a dynamite musician, awesome showman, and ultimate storyteller. Fans attending on Wednesday didn't know it, but we were in for a real treat! The longest Springsteen U.S. show in history -- clocking in at 4 hours and 4 minutes!

Watching my hero, reminded me that even Bruce has his idols. On the way home, I recalled when Paul McCartney (who rocked CBP this past July) joined Bruce on stage at a concert a few years ago. Bruce was in "awe," and could be heard saying he waited "about fifty years" for this opportunity.

Thanks to Google (and youtube), I found a video of their performance to share with you.

FYI, Bruce is releasing his autobiography at the end of the month. Click on one of the links below for more information.
