Happy Independence Day!

Independence Hall
Philadelphia

On July 4th, here in the United States, we celebrate our birthday as a nation. As with any "birthday party," celebrate, enjoy, be safe...and don't forget to take a moment and remember our military men and women serving our country, especially overseas. They're protecting us, and making it possible for us to celebrate America’s independence!

Happy July 4th!

    1. We're expecting rain here in Philly, but we did get the parade in this morning, and we're anticipating getting the Phillies game completed (along with a Phillies' win!) Thanks for visiting today!

  2. I'm a little late with this post, but I sure hope your celebration was a good one! I have mixed feelings about this holiday, and touched on it via my blog. Women who are in a domestic violence situation probably can't relate to the thought of being independent, and sadly, few people focus on our troops and the fantastic job they do to protect us. It's better than it has been, but those who have left the military, often still have to struggle to paid when they have been injured, literally waiting years to be compensated. I'm so thrilled that you mentioned it to remind us. Hugs...RO
