Memorial Day, a Day for Reflection

Here, in the States, we all look forward to the Memorial Day, which on the calendar is the last Monday in May.  The weekend is our “unofficial” start to the summer season.  But, while we’re enjoying our day off from work, and cook-outs with friends and family, don’t forget to stop and ponder the true meaning of the day.
The true principle of Memorial Day is to remember those who died while serving in the Armed Forces.  So, take some time to reflect, and offer a prayer of gratitude to those gave their lives when our country asked them to serve.

  1. Thank you for this post. As a veteran I really appreciate it.
